Rollover Images
This was inspired by some work Romain Guy did a few years ago. I believe Macs toolbar on the bottom of the screen does this as well?? Anyways, its pretty simple when the mouse rolls over the image, it expands to emphasize which item is being pointed to. Here's some code and an example.
